Bristol has a whole host of outdoor places to discover. From the Harbourside to the Downs to it's many parks and green spaces. For inspiration for walking routes in different parts of the city, here's a selection of new routes to try.
Linking together Leigh Woods, Abbot’s Pool and Ashton Court, this
walk takes you through woods and across fields. Discover the quaint
village of Abbot’s Leigh and have a pit-stop in The George. Find the
hidden Abbot’s Pool and loop back through Ashton Court. You can even
head across the suspension bridge into Clifton Village at the end.

This route shows Bristol from a less well-known perspective and
offers brilliant views of the Bristol skyline. It passes through
local parks such as Arnos Court Park, Redcatch Park, Perrets Park,
Northern Slopes-Bommie, Northern Slopes-Glyn Vale, Northern
Slopes-Novers and Victoria Park.

Keep an eye out for the resident heron by the pool in Eastville Park
as you follow the footpath alongside the river Frome. This route
continues alongside the river and leads you into Snuff Mills.
Continue up the path into Oldbury Court Estate, before looping back
down onto the river path and retrace the footpath back to Eastville
Park.
