Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) is a new way of training
muscle groups at a higher intensity with lighter weights. BFR cuffs are
utilized as a tourniquet around either the upper or lower limbs above the
working muscles. Blood flow is occluded based on tolerance and desired
level of restriction. An appropriate exercise should be selected based on
targeted muscle group.
