For Book Lovers!

The LadyNaMaster Book Club

African Literature

I have loved reading all my life. I mean my love for reading is what lead me to my current career path (law) but that’s a story for another day. A lot of my favourite memories from childhood include one book or the other – from Enid Blyton to R.L. Stine, Jacqueline Wilson, Sidney Sheldon, Danielle Steele (yes, I was reading books by SS and DS at 7 🤷🏾‍♀‍, blame my mama). I’m getting excited just thinking about them all.

Anyway, fast forward to my mid-20s and I cannot tell you how much reading has continued to save me! But you know what I love more than reading? Gathering with groups of people and having enjoyable conversations about the books we love. There are not many things better than seeing a book come alive through other readers’ eyes.

That being said, please come with me on this new journey of a virtual book club (virtual because we are in a panoramic or whatever). Whether you want to rekindle your love of non-fiction, form a lifelong habit, or turn book insights into action, come one; come all! I promise it’ll be fun (and I’m a woman of my word so you can rest assured)!

In the meantime, check out some of the books I've read recently!
