açaí

Açaí is a fruit originating from the Amazon region and has become increasingly popular around the world, thanks to its numerous health benefits and its versatility in cooking. It is consumed in various forms, including frozen pulp, juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, ice cream and desserts.
The açaí palm or açaí palm (Euterpe oleracea) , the plant responsible for the production of açaí, is a monocotyledon from the Arecaceae family, native to the Amazon region, which includes, in addition to Brazil: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Guianas and Peru.

Benefits of açaí

Açaí is rich in: proteins, vegetable fat, vitamins (B1, C and E), minerals and fibers. In addition to being a good source of energy, açaí is rich in antioxidants. In other words, it provides substances capable of combating damage that free radicals can cause in the body.
