Coffee is a beverage, served hot, cold or iced, made from grinding and brewing coffee beans that have been dried from fruit and then roasted to the drinkers desired roast level. Known for it's stimulating effect, coffee's discovery originated in Ethiopia as early as the 15th century when goat farmers high up in the mountains noticed unusual behaviour that their goats displayed after eating the cherry fruit from coffea arabica plant. In more modern applications, coffee is brewed using a drip method, pourover, siphon, espresso machine and french press.
