Female Anopheles mosquitoes transmit the parasite to humans through their
bites.
Early symptoms include fever, headache, and chills.
More severe symptoms include fatigue, confusion, seizures, and difficulty
breathing.
Other symptoms include vomiting, muscle aches, loss of appetite, and
yellow skin.
Malaria is most common in tropical and subtropical countries.
