Video Game Design
It's the process of creating the rules, systems, mechanics and gameplay for a game.
Game designers need to be creative and technical, and be able to solve complex problems. They often work as part of a team that includes programmers, artists, animators, and quality assurance testers. Depending on the size and type of project, the role of a game designer may be separated out into specializations, such as level designer or systems designer.
Game design is part of a game's development from concept to final form. Typically, the development process is iterative, with repeated phases of testing and revision. During revision, additional design or re-design may be needed.
