Scuba diving is not an everyday activity (unless you are an incredibly lucky person).
Getting outside, into the sunlight, and then diving into invigorating waters will do wonders to clear your mind.
Scuba diving is in a sense, like meditating. Throughout the dive we tend to breathe in and out, slowly and deeply.
When our breathing slows down, our nervous system takes the hint and we enter a state of calm while you discover a fascinating new world.
But you must have some questions before signing up at a Dive Center.
Is it safe?
Yes it is. The most basic safety principles for diving are taught at the very beginning of every training program.
Is it for me?
Most dive centres will offer you an introduction course in a controlled environment.
Do I need to be able to swim?
Yes and No. Itโs NOT about the ability to swim; itโs about the ability to move comfortably through the water without panicking and/or drowning.
Do I have to buy my own equipment?
No. Most centers have equipment for their students to use during the course.
