Days at the Morisaki Bookshop

In the heart of Jimbocho, Tokyo, a charming second-hand bookstore sits in an old wooden building. This beloved shop, filled with hundreds of books, has been a family treasure for three generations. Twenty-five-year-old Takako has never liked reading, despite her uncle Satoru's pride in the Morisaki bookshop, which he has devoted himself to since his wife, Momoko, left him five years ago. When Takako's boyfriend unexpectedly announces his impending marriage to someone else, she reluctantly agrees to live rent-free in the tiny room above the shop. Seeking solace from her heartbreak, she slowly becomes enchanted by the worlds within the book stacks. As summer transitions to autumn, Takako and Satoru discover their shared interests and the lessons the Morisaki bookshop imparts about life, love, and the healing power of literature.
