About Me
I am Ntombifuthi Mashinini, a proud daughter of Warden, a small but vibrant town nestled in the Eastern Free State. Growing up in the dusty streets of Warden and attending Iphondle Senior Secondary School shaped me into the resilient and ambitious person I am today.
Despite the challenges of living in a rural area, I was inspired by the dedication of my teachers, such as Mr. M. Sebiloane, Mrs. Mofutsanyana, and Mr. Khumalo, who nurtured my love for commercial studies and sparked a deep passion for education and growth.
While Warden is a place of great potential, the reality is that many of our youth have fallen victim to unemployment, drugs, and crime. The lack of recreational programs, art initiatives, and essential facilities like science and technology labs has made it difficult for young people to dream beyond their circumstances. This has not only affected the safety of our community but also the aspirations of our younger generation.
As someone who has been fortunate to explore the world of technology and coding, I see a brighter future for Warden’s youth. My vision is to equip students at Iphondle Senior Secondary School with basic coding skills, introducing them to the dynamic and ever-evolving world of IT. With adequate funding, we can establish computer labs, ensure their security with CCTV systems and local hires, and create a safe space for learning and innovation.
To kickstart this initiative, I am committed to designing a website tailored to teaching coding basics. My hope is to spark curiosity and inspire students to explore IT as a viable and fulfilling career path. Technology has the power to transform lives, and I believe that with the right resources and mentorship, we can unlock the potential of our community's youth.
This project is not just about teaching coding; it’s about showing the youth of Warden that their dreams are valid, their talents are needed, and their future is limitless. Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow for Warden.
