I love Injera!!
What is Ingera?
Injera is a traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean flatbread, renowned
for its unique spongy texture and slightly tangy flavor. It is made primarily from teff, a tiny, nutrient-rich grain that has
been cultivated in the Horn of Africa for thousands of years. Unlike
most breads, Injera is not just a side dish; it plays a central role in
the meal, serving as both a base and an eating utensil. It is
traditionally used to scoop up flavorful stews like lentils, vegetables,
or meat dishes, absorbing the rich sauces and enhancing the overall
taste experience.
