North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered animal welfare charity in North Wales that cares for, rehomes, and educates about animals:
Rehoming: NCAR finds new homes for abandoned or unwanted pets.
Care: NCAR provides care for sick animals at their vets and sterilizes cats and dogs.
Helping: NCAR helps pet owners and animals with behavioral issues.
Educating: NCAR provides information, advice, and talks to educate future pet owners.
Microchipping: NCAR microchips all animals before they are rehomed to ensure they are registered if they go missing.
Home checks: NCAR conducts home checks for cats that are being adopted to ensure the home is suitable.
NCAR was founded in 1978 by a group of volunteers who rescued stray dogs that were about to be euthanized by the police and local councils. NCAR is always in need of donations and volunteers.
