Diamond Painting is fairly new to the US. It consists of resin or crystal stones and a picture on a canvas that has been treated with a special glue that becomes very tacky when dry. The stones are easily applied to the canvas with an applicator, usually filled with a special wax that will allow the Diamond Painter to pick up the stones and place them on the tacky canvas without touching it with her/his fingers.
