A sundae is an ice cream frozen dessert of American origin that typically consist of one or more scoops of ice cream topped with sauce or syrup and other toppings such as springles, whipped cream, marshmallows, peanuts, cherries or other fruits of your choice. It is called Sundae because it is believed that it was firstly served on a Sunday after a church service in 1892.
