Braids by P was founded on March 5th, 2021 amidst the covid pandemic. I was in my second year at Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology. Most things transitioned to the internet during the lockdown period. I was frequently bored because I spent most of my time indoors without engaging in any productive activities. I noticed a deficiency within the beauty sector, specifically among individuals skilled in hair braiding.
I took a risk, conducted further research, and purchased the essential materials needed to enhance my braiding abilities. I spent a full year honing my skills before accepting clients in 2021, ensuring they adhere to COVID regulations by providing proof of vaccination.
My brand expanded and I earned a substantial amount of money that allowed me to cover my school fees after my mom's income was affected by the pandemic.
