For the longest time in my country women were never part of farming. We
were deemed the care takers, the ones to stay at home. But today more
women are getting involved in farming and it is really beautiful to see.
I am proud that i also get to be part of the women who are involved in
farming. It has been an amazing journey to be part of the ladies who are
growing and learning more about farming.๐ฅฌ
My journey is about getting to know the inside workings of farming and
getting to interreact with women who came before me and have paved the
way for those coming after them.๐ฝ๐ฅฆ
My love for farming started at a young age when my grandfather used to
take me to his farm every weekend and make me do all the scary things,
like being in the milddle of a herd of cows. Not my finest moment ๐ but
it somehow made me fall more in love with farming.
We have different kinds of farming and with what I know I would also
like to teach more women about all the kinds of farming and help them
navigate through which one works better for them. ๐๐
