Roses at the Rose Garden, Hyde Park

The Rose Garden is one of the most beautiful places to see in Hyde Park, a large vast park situated in Westminster, Greater London. It can be found in the southeastern part of Hyde Park, in close proximity to the Serpentine Lake and Hyde Park Corner.

It was opened in 1994 and originally designed by Colvin and Moggridge Landscape Architects. The ingenious design of this area derived from the concept of trumpets sounding off and welcoming one to Hyde Park from Hyde Park Corner. The idea is that the central circular area of the garden encompassed by the yew hedge is the mouth of the trumpet and the ever-changing flower beds are the notes coming out out of the trumpet.
