Buraanbuur is a traditional Somali dance that are performed by women. It is used to share thoughts,experiences,and aspirations. It is a rhythmic and poetic dance which involves a poet who crafts meaningful verses and a drummer who plays a ridda band and a dancer who enters the circle known in somali as the goobta.
