Mango and its juice, commonly known as “aam ras” contain many vital vitamins and minerals that are essential for a healthy human body. Mango is a very sweet fruit and hence one does not need to add sugar in it, and hence it makes it very beneficial for health.
INGREDIENTS (US CUP = 240ML)
3 medium mango or 1 large(or 2 1/2 cups frozen or canned pulp)
3 tablespoons of suger or manuka honey(adjust to taste)
1 12 to 2 cups chilled water or coconut water from young coconut or orange juice
Optional
5 to 6 mint leaves for flavor(optional)
1 inch ginger (fresh root)
1 lemon or lime(skip if using oranges)
2 teaspoons chia seeds or sabja seeds
How to make mango juice
Wash mango thoroughly and chill them in the fridge.Peel the skim
Cut the mango to cudes and add them to a blender.Pour the coconut water or orange juice or water.Add suger and ice cudes.If using ice cudes,reduce the liquid.
Optional - Put in the other ingredients if using like ginger amd mint.Blend until smooth.Pour more liqud if needed to your taste.Serve immediaetely.
Optional - If using chia seeds or sabja seeds,then rinse them thoroughly in a strainer.Soak in 1/2 cup water and set aside forat least 20 mins to 2 hours.Stir them in the juice just before serving.Serve mango juice immediately.
