A playstation exclusive, The Last of Part 1 created by video game developer Naughty Dog, has captured the hearts of gamers since it's 2013 release.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, a strain of cordyceps mushroom has mutated to survive in human hosts turning those infected, violent, as they try to bite others to spread the infection. You play as main characters Joel, a man who's seemingly lost his humanity as the long years since the outbreak of the infection destroyed his life, and Ellie, a young girl who was born into this deprived world and has known no other.
Joel and Ellie start out as strangers, but as it comes to light that Ellie is immune to the cordyceps infection and might be the answer to a cure, our two main characters embark on a journey to deliver Ellie to doctors who can create a vaccine--a journey that ultimately bonds them for life.
