Right nere the Rialto Bridge, there is a shopping mall that has a rooftop terrace with 360º view and it is completly free! Definitely was one of my favorite places in Venice and not too much crowded.

You must go to the campanile and see the view from the above. Breathtaking! 🤩
Then I recommend to go see Ponte dei Sospiri. Also, you can go for a gondola ride from the place in front of the Hard Rock Café.
5 minutes from Piazza San Marco, you can go to Scala Contarini del Bovolo, where you can appreciate a beautiful sunset.
If you really like museums, think of visiting Museo Correr and Palazzo Ducale.

The famous island in the Venetian Lagoon (northern Italy) known for its lace work and brightly coloured homes.
Curiosities:
- Since before the Venetian Republic, Burano was home to fishermen and legend says that the houses were painted in bright
colors so they could see their way home when fog blanketed the lagoon.
- The houses' colours follow a specific system. If someone wishes to paint their home, one must send a request to the government, who will respond by making notice of the certain
colours permitted for that lot.
The only water bus that runs to Burano from Venice is Vaporetto route 12. It departs from Fondamente Nove (F.te Nove),
which is around a 20 minute walk away from St. Mark’s Square. The vaporetto takes approximately 45 minutes to Burano.
You can find the vaporetto schedule by

Ideally plan a morning or an afternoon to visit Burano.
