The art of sewing
Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics, clothing
construction and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. It is
influenced by culture and different trends and has varied over time and
place. Sewing is the craft of fastening or attaching objects or parts of
a garment by making stitches with a needle and thread, either by hand or
with a sewing machine. It is the fundamental process underlying a
variety of arts and crafts, including embroidery, tapestry, quilting,
appliqué, patchwork, and couture techniques. Sewing is also one of the
world’s oldest art forms.
