As a bartender and cocktail lover myself,
I always enjoy a good drink, and being able to mix good quality
ingredients, I always choose to use fresh ingredients such
as
fresh lime juice, homemade simple syrup or Maraschino cherries.
Lets start with 3 of my favorite cocktail recipes, Aperol
Spritz, Mojito and Old Fashioned
Aperol Spritz
This the simplest one, even tough if you open a bottle
of Prosecco you might want to finish it, so is recommended to
be shared with friends. :)
2 oz. of Aperol
4oz of Prosecco or any sparkling wine
top with club soda and a slice of orange
Get a large glass of wine and fill it up with ice
then add the Aperol, Prosecco up to the top
and leave some room for the club soda. Garnish with the orange slice 🍊 Voila!
Mojito is the most refreshing drink, especially for the
summertime that can also be made alcohol-free!
2oz of a good quality rum
1oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1oz hommade simple syrup
fresh mint
lime wedges
In a shaker, add 2 lime wedges, few leaves of mint(the more the
better),
simple syrup and muddle. Add ice and then the rum and lime juice.
Shake very well and transfer into a glass. Serve :)

Last but not least, Old Fashioned is my favourite because I
like bourbon
and even though I enjoy it mostly in the winter, I find myself craving
it in a breezy summen night.

2oz of any Bourbon or Rye; I like Woodford Reserve
2 dashed of Angostura bitters or orange bitters
1 Maraschino cherry
1 wedge of orange
brown sugar
In a whiskey glass, add the cherry, orange wedge, 1 teaspoon of sugar
and the bitters,
muddle very well, after that I like to add the ice and then the
bourbon and stir very well. Enjoy!
