COFFEE GROUNDS

Coffee grounds are rich in nitrogen, plus they add organic matter to the soil, aerate it, and help with water retention. After brewing your coffee, simply add a few spoonfuls of grounds directly to the top of the soil around your plant.Don't use grounds that haven't already been brewed-- these are too acidic and can hurt your plants.

compost

HOMEMADE COMPOST

Compost is a mixture of ingredients used as plant fertilizer and to improve soil's properties. It is commonly prepared by decomposing plant and food waste, recycling organic materials, and manure. It helps to improve the soil’s structure and condition, which in turn helps nutrients already present in the ground to become more available to plants’ roots.

bananaPeel

BANANA PEELS

Bananas are naturally high in potassium, for strong stems and fast growth, and phosphorus, for forming new roots and flowers, both of which plants need to thrive. You can soak the peels in water for between 24-48 hours and use the liquid the next time you water your plants, or you can cut up the peel into small pieces and mix them into the soil.
