The lungs of
  our planet
  are at stake

Join the fight to protect the Amazon

We are in a climate emergency

As you read this, the beating heart of our planet is being set on fire. The Amazon is ablaze – again.

Farmers and land grabbers are burning the forest to the ground to expand cattle farming and industrial agriculture production. We’re running out of time to protect the largest tropical forest in the world. To win the fight against the health, climate and biodiversity crises we are in, we must stop the destruction of the Amazon.

Our future depends on it.

The Amazon forest on fire

  The Amazon is calling

The Amazon plays a vital role in stabilizing our global climate. Home to unique plants, animals and thousands of Indigenous Peoples and traditional communities, it is a place governed by the power of nature.

Without it, our planet cannot sustain life.

But the heart of our planet is under attack: Brazilian President Bolsonaro and his government encourage the exploitation of the Amazon and threaten its guardians, Indigenous Peoples. Bolsonaro’s administration is handing over this essential ecosystem and our collective future to mining and industrial agriculture.

Leopard in the Amazon

  Life under threat

Every day, over 1.2 million trees are torn down in the Amazon. If we don’t stop Bolsonaro and the agribusiness destructive agenda, the delicate fabric of life woven by the forest could be undone forever. This is not just a threat to the Amazon and to the Brazilian people. This is a fatal blow to the hope of a livable future for all of us.

This is a battle we must win.

And there’s only one way to win: Together.
