Learning Spanish is fun!

Learning Spanish has been such a rewarding and enriching experience. It's actually one of the easiest languages for English speakers to pick up. My journey started a few months ago when I decided to use the time I usually spend waiting for clients more productively. I signed up on the Duolingo app and spend 15-20 minutes every day learning and practicing. Consistency is key, and after 8 months, I have a vocabulary of over 1,000 words and can read and understand if someone speaks slowly.
Since there aren't many Spanish speakers in my country besides tourists, I occasionally watch Spanish movies with subtitles and listen to podcasts and music to immerse myself in the language. My goal is to travel around Spain, take in the sights, and chat with the locals in their beautiful language.
