soybeans, and dairy products. Its capital and the most crowded city
is Montevideo.

passion for football, vibrant Carnival celebrations, and traditional
cuisine featuring dishes like asado and chivito. Popular tourist
destinations include the historic city of
Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage
site; the beach resort of Punta del Este; and the
capital, Montevideo, with its rich cultural scene and historic
neighborhoods like Ciudad Vieja.
