F1 Academy is a racing series within the Formula 1 family, for women
and girls aged between 16 and 25.
F1 Academy champions the next generation of female talent, and aims
to close the gap in female reprasentation and diversity at the top
levels of motorsport.
Discover Your Drive
The Discover Your Drive initiative promotes female participation and
talent through all avenues of the motorsports industry,
promoting career entry and profession not only as racing drivers,
but as strategists, engineers and many more career paths across STEM
subjects!
With a focus on three pillars: Community, Youth Engagement and
Talent Identification & Participation, F1 Academy Discover Your
Drive will offer girls and young women the opportunity to take part
in entry-level and professional programmes to promote and enhance
female participation in the sport.
Driver Spotlight
Abbi Pulling
Current championship leader, Abbi Pulling is a 20 year old British
driver, driving for the Rodin motorsports team, and sponspored by
the Alpine Formula 1 team. So far in the 2024 season, Abbie has won
4 out of 6 races, as well as achieving podium finishes in
the mixed category British F4 series.
Abbi started karting at the age of 8, and achieved an extraordinary
junior career, graduating to W Series, British F4, and F1 Academy.
Aside from countless pole positions, podiums and victories, Abbi
made history as the first woman EVER to drive a Formula 1
car in Saudi Arabia!
