Miss Piggy's film debut was in the academy award nominated: The Muppet Movie from 1979. The film was directed by James Frawley, who she immediately put her trust into. The film opens with her Kermie singing the international smash hit Rainbow Connection with the reprise version feturing the one and only, Miss Piggy herself. Her vocal coach for this feature was Frank Oz. She worked with him for the majority of the early scene presence before changing to Eric Jacobson in 2001. And her glam team was headed by the incomparable Bonnie Erickson.
