About cows🐄, lentils🌱 and Climate Crisis🔥

Hey guys.. nice to see you!
We really need to talk!

My name is Nora and I am vegan since December 2019.

Why I care so much about veganism?!
To make it short: It's my share in fighting the climate crisis!

Studies show that, if not being reduced, emissions of food-production only will cause to miss the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. And since the food group of animal products, especially meat, has the biggest footprint of all food groups the conclusion was obvious to me.

Now what?
Well - you, too, are consumers of products - every single day.
Meaning, there's things you can do to keep emission down!
For example by choosing lentils, soy, almonds, oats, veggies and fruits over eggs, dairy products and meat in your everyday live.
As consumers we make important and effective decisions ever day - and they have an impact on the world of tomorrow!
And yes: you can make delicious vegan desserts and homemade soulfood!!
