Tiny but Mighty!
Originating from the region of Pomerania in Northern Europe, Pomeranians are little fox-like dogs. Although they may be considered tiny now, typically weighing between 3-7 lbs, you may be surpised to know that Pomerianians are descended from large sled dogs. Despite their small stature these dogs have king-sized personalities and are not afraid to take on bigger dogs making socializing important to avoid aggression. With proper training, exercise, and care you will have a loving and loyal companion in a Pomeranian!
