How yoga is great for the body, mind and soul



Yoga is great for balancing the body, mind and soul. Yoga stills the mind, so it gives the body time to relax and to recognise how it has detached from itself, leading to mundane suffering. Yoga originated from Ancient India is a practice that blends disciplines that harmonises the body, mind and soul. It is thought that the first known appearance of the word "yoga" was composed between the fifth and third centuries BCE. Yoga continued to develop as a systematic study and practice during the fifth and sixth centuries BCE in ancient India's ascetic and Śramaṇa movements. Traditional and modern Yoga is practiced worldwide in a variety of schools of yoga, in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. There are many types of styles of yoga that people can enjoy today including, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga. Hot Yoga was developed with the heat in mind in India which can inrease the benefits of yoga.
