Craving some tasty, fluffy pancakes? Well, here's a simple and enjoyable recipe to help you get started.
First mix the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together the
flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Now in another bowl, mix the wet ingredients. Whisk together the milk,
egg, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract.
Now pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just
combined.
The batter should be slightly lumpy. Be careful not to mix too much, or
the pancakes won't turn out fluffy.
Heat the pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with butter or
oil.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook for
about 2-3 minutes until you see bubbles form on the surface and the
edges look set.
Flip the pancake and cook the other side for about
1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with toppings of your choice like maple syrup, blueberries or
bananas.
