Owia Salt Pond
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Gems💎 of the Caribbean
Located in "Carib Country", an AmerIndian reservation on the windward coast of Saint Vincent in the Eastern Caribbean, Owia Salt Pond is a salt water pool shaped by rock formations from previous eruptions of the island's Mt. Soufriere volcano.
The pond attracts locals for casual bathing and nature tourists from abroad. We hope that as the government's planned development continues the park remains affordable and accessible to both parties.
