Sevillanas could be defined as a typical Andalusian music and dance of a
festive nature that is usually danced as a couple and whose main stage
is fairs and pilgrimages. In addition, they are considered the regional
dance of Andalusia.
Sevillanas are usually danced in couples (with or without castanets),
although they can also be danced in groups. While dancing, there is very
little to no physical contact between dancers.
