Western Theatre

Theatre (or theater, depending on who you ask) is an ancient form of performing art that uses performers including actors, dancers, and musicians to tell a story, often on a stage. Theatre as we know it today goes back thousands of years and the "Western" or European theatre tradition is widely considered to have started in the amphitheatres of ancient Greece. It likely has its roots in religious ritual and taps into the natural human inclination to tell stories.

Modern technology has made theatre more innovative and accessible than ever before. I look forward to seeing how theatre evolves after the pandemic.
