Everyone knows the
Kookaburra, the
Emu, and the
Cassowary, but there are
plenty of other cool birds in Australia that even the locals overlook.
The Currawong, althought looking like a crow that dipped it's tail in
some white paint, is not in fact, a corvid. It also doesn't have the
terratorial agressiveness
of a good old Aussie magpie. What makes them particularly neat are their
beautiful voices.
