In 2018 I fulfilled a long cherished dream:
cycling along the European Coastline. I
started off in the Netherlands, my home country. It was quite the
adventure having only my Santosbike, four panniers, camping gear, some
clothes, tools and loooots of food. In 5 months I cycled 9000
kilometeres through 7 countries and collected €5000 for
The Ocean Cleanup. A trip with many highs and a few lows 😉. One thing never let me down
during the whole trip: 🚲 . Zero issues, not
even a flat tyre. With this page I'd like to bring an ode to my
bike: Santos. I think I can
say I like bicycles just as much as Queen,
or maybe even a little more!
