Scenery: There is no doubt
that the Lake District has some the most beautifully breathtaking
scenery in the world. No matter how many times I complete the same
walk or take on a new one, I am in awe every single time.
Walking: As England's largest
National Park, the Lake District has a walk for everyone! My go to
walks when I visit are Derwentwater and Walla Crag, followed by
Latrigg and Catbells.
Keswick: An Ancient Market
Town in the Lake District bursting with personality and attractions.
Whether you are starting or finishing a walk, having a spot of lunch,
shopping or visiting one of the two beautful parks, the town is a must
see. As a child, I loved spending time in the Pencil Museum which is
home to the world's first pencil and the world's largest pencil!
Dog Friendly: Nearly every
shop, pub and resturant are dog friendly. This is great as it means I
can take my dog everywhere I go on my holiday meaning she is never
left behind.
Self Restore: When the
pressures of life become overwhelmeing at times, a break away with my
Border Collie is the ultimate reset for me. Nothing quite matches
walking for hours with your best friend to reset your both your mental
and physical state.
