Giraffes are the tallest mammals on Earth. Their legs are about 6 feet.
They can run up to 35mph for short periods of time and as low as 10mph for
long periods of time. Giraffes spread their front legs or kneel to have a
drink of water, which they only need once every few days. Most of their
lives are spent standing. They even give birth and sleep standing up.
