Riziki Kateya is a Tanzanian artist trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, UK, in fine art botanical illustration. She has joined expeditions into the protected forests of the Eastern Arc Mountains to find and paint rare plant, animal and bird species insitu; some of these illustrations have been used when describing new species in scientific journals. Riziki has opened a studio in Arusha, Tanzania, to teach the next generation of artists and create a shop for local crafts people and artists.
