This very trendy hobby has preoccupied my time for hours and provided the carbohydrates that make lockdown and the last 10 months much more manageable. I've had the most success baking sourdough based on the famous Tartine Recipe developed byChad Robertson.

The process from begining to end takes several weeks, if you plan to grow your own starter. If you want to start baking right away, its best to ask a friend or a local bakery for some of their discarded starter and you can have beautiful homemade bread in two days!
