Who are we?
The Sisters of Battle, officially known as the
Adepta Sororitas, are a fiercely devoted all-female military
force within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, serving as the martial arm
of the Ecclesiarchy, the state church of the Imperium of Man. These
warrior-nuns are bound by unyielding faith in the
Emperor of Mankind, combating heresy,
xenos, and other threats to humanity with unwavering zeal.
Trained from a young age, they don powerful ceramite power armor and
wield an array of holy weaponry, ranging from flamers to heavy bolters.
Organized into various Orders, each with its own specialization and
fervent devotion, the Sisters of Battle stand as a symbol of unshakable
faith and relentless determination in the grim darkness of the far
future.
