In 2023 alone, more than 22,500 people in the UK had their social media or email accounts hacked, with victims losing a total of £1.3 million. Phishing is the most common form of cyber crime, with an estimated 3.4 billion spam emails sent every day. Google blocks around 100 million attacks a day - with Millennials and Gen-Z internet users being most likely to fall victim to phishing attacks.
