Pizza is an Italian dish origin consisting of a usually round, flattened base of leavened wheat-based dough topped with a tomato base or passata, tomatoes, cheese, and often other ingredients such as mushrooms, pineapple, meat, etc.
A pizza must be baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired oven. Do you know that a small pizza is called a pizzetta? No? Now you know! 😄 A person who makes pizza is called a pizzaiolo. 🧑🍳
In Italy, they serve pizza in formal settings, such as at a restaurant,
mostly presented unsliced, and you have to use your knife and fork.
You can also ask to cut your pizza into wedges if u want to eat it with
your hand. 🍕
