Tulips originated in Central Asia, and were first cultivated in Iran (Persia) as early as the 10th century. Many historical sources have evidence of how tulips came to Europe over the centuries. By the 16th century, tulips were being cultivated in the Ottoman Empire. I find tulips to be the most unique flowers of them all, the most known meaning of tulips is perfect and deep love. As tulips are a classic flower that has been loved by many for centuries they have been attached with the meaning of love. The Tulip is the most famous flower from Holland and often used as the icon of the Netherlands.
