Essential Oils
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants. The oils capture the plant’s scent and flavor, or “essence.” Essential oils are most commonly used in the practice of aromatherapy, in which they are inhaled through various methods, but you may also add them to vegetable oils, creams, or shower gels and shampoos. Or you might rub them on your skin, put them in your bath or even make your own green and effective home cleaning products.
