Long ago, a white wildflower held its seeds not in a
pod, but hidden beneath its green cloak. A mischievous wood sprite,
tired of waiting, tickled the flower, causing it to sneeze and scatter
its seeds skyward. They landed on the underside of the leaves, a sweet
surprise for foragers. The "false fruit" (the real fruit are the tiny
dots!) became a favorite treat, and the wood sprite, forever linked to
the playful birth, turned the flower a vibrant red, a symbol of joy and
unexpected delight.
