The difference between pencil sketch and portraiT are
SKETCH : A sketch is a freehand drawing of literally anything. Which is not totally finished. In short it is a raw work.
PORTRAIT : Portrait is the Artwork/Photograph which shows only Face, and areas upto shoulders.
