My First Hobby

The modern game of golf originated in 15th century Scotland. The 18-hole round was created at the Old Course at St Andrews in 1764. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit a ball into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Some major championships in professional golf include: The Masters, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship.

I started playing golf when I was 7 years old. I played with my family, competed in tournaments, and later joined my highschool team. Studying professional players like Tiger Woods, Michelle Wie, and Phil Mickelson helped me perfect my swing and improve. I still ocassionally play when I am home with my family in San Diego, CA.
